Model/Mogul tapped for documentary series, scheduled to premiere in Spring 2011
NEW YORK, NY, October 25, 2010 – CHELCA announced it has agreed to a deal with New York City-based model/mogul Nefertiti Jones to appear as a panelist on ‘Fatally Single,’ a new documentary series that will examine the stories of the working class minority woman on their journey through social outings and their influence on the dating scene of today, via a town hall-style format.
Fatally Single is based on the acclaimed blog comprised of self-written biographies that examines dating and social lifestyle from a one-person perspective.
“Nef has demonstrated over the years through previous projects that she has a great approach and feel to multimedia that viewers really can understand and relate to,” said CHELCA Co-Founder Chuck Holliday.
“We’re delighted to have Nef on board as part of this series which not only examines the dating and social scene in New York City, but also celebrates the lifestyle and culture.”
Other panel members who will appear on the show will include CHELCA-affiliated media personalities and staff members.
The documentary series is being produced by CHELCA Holdings, which already co-produces TLNA: The Late Night Alumni, Glamours Edge, and In My Stilettos, all airing digitally throughout internet platforms.
“I am so excited to be working on this series with Chuck,” said Jones. “The project will also give people an exciting perspective on life as a whole.”
Fatally Single (The Video Documentary Series) is currently slated to premiere in February.
